Hot Meals Ministry
The Hot Meals Ministry at St. Luke's is dedicated to providing nutritional enrichment to those less fortunate than ourselves. For those willing to roll up their sleeves and serve God's people in a hands-on capacity, this might be the perfect calling for you!
Food Pantry
St. Luke’s coordinates with First Presbyterian Church in Metuchen to collect non-perishable food to distribute through their food pantry. Food is collected every Sunday in the baskets in the back of the church and Fryer Hall and then delivered to the food pantry.

On the third Friday of the month, the women of St. Luke’s are invited to gather at Panera Bread, on Route 1 South in Edison. This informal luncheon is a social gathering where many topics are brought up. It is an excellent opportunity to catch up and find out new things about each other. So if you are free that Friday, please join us.

Men's Luncheon: 1st Friday of each month at 12 noon

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Prayer Shawls are knitted or crocheted and praying very much plays a part in this ministry. A prayer is said when the person knitting or crocheting begins to work. A prayer is also selected to be included with the shawl. When the shawl is complete it is given to Fr. Michael to bless before being given to the recipient.. The shawls are given by the pastoral care team to provide comfort and love for those in need, as well as in celebration and joy. Simple patterns and prayers are available, but any prayer shawl pattern may be used.

lindazeh@verizon.netWomen's Supportive Housing
Town Clock Development is a permanent housing program for abused and homeless women and their children for whom St. Luke’s has been providing support for many years.
Each year during Advent we present a Christmas gift bag to the moms containing a $25 gift card, as well as travel-size toiletries, fancy soaps, makeup, lotions, etc. The collection of toiletries and gift cards usually begins in November.
